We move from one facility to another because I learned about Banyan from my advocate. And I wasn’t really satisfied with what was happening at the former facility, in terms of activities, and this place is much more gorgeous with all the landscaping and the outdoor space, five acres of land.
Usually, there is a reason for placing a loved one in a facility, and it can be different things. Maybe something like incontinence occurs and it’s the breaking point, and so it’s time to have that person in a facility. Sometimes it’s behaviors, things that are destructive or, you know, not normal and that don’t work in an unstructured, less structured environment.
