COVID brought sanitation and proper techniques to the forefront of all senior living. What that means for us is that not just traditional housekeeping or cleaning departments are responsible for the sanitation and upkeep of the facility as a whole, and you know, so it’s showing everyone how to properly don and doff PPE, proper hand washing techniques, what a contact time for a certain cleaner means.
And also, you know, the necessity to clean commonly touched surfaces throughout the day is now widespread amongst all departments. With the prevalence of COVID-19 and the messaging that came across, everybody is now very in tune with what flu like symptoms are, how and when to report those, and what the next steps should look like.
Because of our sustained success with COVID-19, now have confidence in the policies and protocols we have in place and they’re adhered to rather strictly.
