We understand that it can be a tough transition moving into a community for the resident and the family members. But we have such a warm and inviting community that we encourage families to be involved. You know, it’s a really great asset for family members because they get to meet other children and other spouses that are going through the same thing as them.
We try to be as transparent as possible, and we offer a portal for family members. So whether you’re here every day, or you’re out of state and can only visit every few months, this portal is a great opportunity for families to see exactly what’s going on in the facility.
We upload pictures of your residents, we upload what activities they’ve been a part of, dietary calendars. And the really important piece is the progress notes. You can actually see online, any therapy notes, medication changes, status updates. Anything clinical that needs to be reported. It’s uploaded onto the portal.
Another important feature for family members is the department requests, so you can actually request for maintenance or housekeeping or if there’s any complaints, you can actually upload a request online that gets immediately resolved.
